The drawing you see is suppose to be part of a whole series of illustrations ment to depict the spirits of the forest – in this case: the Raven. By spirits of the forest I am trying to put on paper certain spiritual states that nature inspires: security, peace, love, pride, danger, death. In this case, it would seem that I have started from the other end, with Death, and what better way to suggest that concept than the fabled Raven.
