One evening, during my visit to Vienna in September 2012, I grabbed my sketchbook and started playing around on the paper with straight, slightly tilted lines, which later became the letter V. This got me thinking and drawing more, and while including some curved elements I thought about the vanilla sticks, slighly curved at the end and layed side by side. As one thing let to another, this lettering experiment took shape and later got turned into a digital version.
