By Demons Be Driven

Named after the song by Pantera, this artwork was featured on the label design of one of my Hopsylvania beers. The more luciferic composition for this piece was laid out like an upside-down hourglass with grains of golden sand flowing upwards through the eyes, as if the flow of time itself had been reversed. In hopes of salvation maybe at times it is our believes or simply our perspectives that must be changed. Drawing inspiration from paintings typically found on the walls of Orthodox churches, this was the perfect opportunity to expand my toolkit and also use gold ink with an actual pen nib.
