This artwork was featured on the label design of one of my Hopsylvania beers, brewed and served for a charity fundraiser to help those impacted by Russia’s war on Ukraine. Featuring an ensemble of Ukraine’s national symbols, this artwork is meant to invoke the emotional yet resilient spirit of the Ukrainian people in the face of war. The nightingale, summoning spring and change with its enchanting song. The sunflower, following the sunlight from East to West. The flag, still hanging high and mighty despite being torn to shreds. All coming together as one spirit of resistance.
