Smashing Pumpkins

Named after the song by XXX, this artwork was featured on the label design of one of my Hopsylvania beers. Poster design for a local craft beer event organized every Halloween in Munich, Germany by Higgins Ale Works and True Brew. The artwork was started back in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and was quite challenging to pull off in between having a broken wrist and wanting to incorporate as many details as possible, such as the brewery logos, brewing paddle and of course… the broken bone itself. In that first iteration this only featured the pumpkin, backpack, and boots, with just a solid color background. Later in 2021 when I was invited to also serve my own Hopsylvania beer, I created the entire backdrop and turned this into an actual poster. A few other details were added even later still, which you can read about in the case study for this project.
